Bottle 745 of 2100 thanks to a trade with ratman. Extreme effervescence. Huge white head that builds over a hazy pale straw hue with noticeably violent carbonation. Aromas are funky, earthy, floral and brett. Some light chlorophenolics. Leathery, damp leaves, pineapple, earthy, bay leave and tarragon. Phenols are medium, medium low malt (bready). Lightly green and herbal. A slight touch of an umami note. Flavors are dry, medium to low bitter, funky phenolics, brett, tarragon. Light plastic note in the mid palate. Bready, grainy, possibly some wheat. Mildly pineapple and star fruit esters. Dry balance
Extremely lively carbonation, dry, nice and light elegant saison body. Surprisingly not nearly as complex as some of their simpler saisons. Enjoyable but not my favorite from this extremely good brewery. Baz7778 (58) - SCOTLAND - JUL 7, 2012
Nice beer, the Brett gives a nice finish.. Refreshing with all of those farmyard characteristics you look for in a saison enjoyed it

750 ml. capped bottle. 1495 of 2100. Opens a gusher, with the overflow cleverly caught . Pours an enormous fluffy, rapidly collapsing, white head (remarkably short retention), over a cloudy dark yellow (SRM 4) body.....nose is very light funk, light melon, mango, hints of pineapple, horse urine....taste is light melon, musty barnyard funk, leading to a dry Brett bitter finish....mouth feel light of medium. sticky, no alcohol, very light carbonation. The aromas and flavors in this are pleasant, not overly strong, with the Brett present but not dominant. BJCP 7/3/13/4/7 RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Have now had this on draft at the brewery and from a bottle I bought there. Not a whole lot going on here, but a great higher ABV warm weather beer. Pours a light, yellow hay. Very nice carbonation. Yeasty, fruity aroma and a nice tart bite on the tongue.

The aroma is doughy malts and floral fruity brett with some funk and a little band-aid.
The flavor is sweet bready malts and some slightly tart fruit with some earthy funk and a little brett. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit watery.
Overall, like the Elder Brett I liked this better fresher. Not as fruity and bretty as I remembered.

Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, bandaid, lemon, and faint sweet tarts. It pours a transparent dull gold with a large white head that leaves some clumps of lacing. The flavor starts with lightly yeasty with some mild citrus. The finish has notes of lemon, sweet tarts, brett, and a touch of dusty notes. It’s light bodied with somewhat soft carbonation and mouthfeel.
