Sample at Falling Rock Beer Tasting with Dr. Bill on 10/13/2012. This brew pours a cloudy reddish-brown color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries and bready malt. Medium body with a mildly sour cherry character and flavors of yeast and grainy malt. The finish is slightly tart with a cherry aftertaste. Above average overall.

A broownish red ale. Sweet cherries. It could be tarter and perhaps have some more sourness. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2011

Surprisingly so good and drinkable. Big carbonation, but very god tart cherry taste. Saison yeast is secondary. Great drinkability.

Bottle @ home. $15 for a 750mL seems a little steep but with only 600 bottles, I’m sure they won’t have a problem selling it quickly. Burgundy red appearance with a cream colored head. Intense, toasty cherry, moderately spicy, almond aroma. Fairly tart, strong, sweet cherry, slightly tangy, spicy, belgian yeasty flavor. Pretty tasty but a little too overly sweet for my taste. onceblind (9860) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Tap at brewery. Murky rosy brown with a thin off-white cap head that sticks mostly around the edge of the glass. Aroma is a nice mix of subtle un-tart (but still sweet) cherries (expected), barn funk, hay, and light pale malt sweetness. The taste greets you a little bitter and funky bit quickly melds into a cherry-tinged barn-funky, earthy, grainy, and farm yeasty. A little dry and dusty. Not shabby, but I think I would have liked a more stereotypical sweet candy-like cherry tone.
