Bottle at the BTBF. The look is clear, golden in color, decent white head. The smell is fruit, some hops, heavy yeast, and definitely Belgian style. The taste is the same, easy drink, not too bad. scoth (690) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 8, 2015
Pours hazy golden with a medium white head, very fine lacing, excellent retention. Farmyard, hay, biscuit, tangerine aromas. Medium light body, zesty, good carbonation. Lightly sweet, light tartness, gentle bitter finish with a lingering pepper note. Brett notes are present but not overpowering. Enjoyable. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - FEB 27, 2015
Poured a slightly hazy mild yellow with a fluffy head. Slight spice in the mouth. Pretty middle of the road. Ernest (7822) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 25, 2015
Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is hazy medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, corn starch), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs), lightly to moderately yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of lemon zest, metal, taffy, alcohol, pepper.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, yeasty, saccharine.
Medium body, watery/oily texture, lively/soft carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
A mixed bag...the aroma is mostly promising, but has some unpleasant/clunky aspects too. A little more disappointing in the mouth, where the slick-and-watery mouthfeel and saccharine aftertaste make it kind of hard to enjoy. There is some potential in the recipe, but the execution just isn’t there. JMurph72 (22) - - FEB 13, 2015
This beer has been cellared for about 6 months. Pulled out today and spent about an hour in the fridge before opening.
Great Belgian yeast aroma that lingers during the first sip. Very peppery, almost saison like. Hints of band aid and bubble gum. Very easy on the palate with a quick finish. White lacy head that lingers throughout the entire experience.

Clear bright golden with a lasting sticky white head. The aroma is a bit sweet blonde and dusty with a sugary brightness I’m not overly fond of as a whole. The flavor has this nearly bubblegumy and sugary blonde grain tone with some blonde toast and raw bread dough. Not a fan. It’s sweet and dusty grainy with too much ester. The bubblegum flavor seems out of place and jarring. Cybercat (6155) - Georgia, USA - JAN 15, 2015
Pours slightly hazy solar yellow with thick and fluffy eggshell head. Aroma has firm fruity, floral, and subtle malty notes. Satisfying flavor has banana, pear, malt, and yeast notes plus a hint of butterscotch. Mouthfeel is a little edgy and has decent body. Get funky! Immensely drinkable, and the alcohol is well hidden. Some fruitiness and complexity. Thanks Jason! slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 23, 2014
"This beer hides the abv very very well, almost to a fault. It’s got all the requisite parts for a good triple/golden...fruity, spicy zesty yeast character, dry finish. But everything is sooooooo mellow it’s too easy drinking to be among the better beers in the style. Surprisingly boring, but still on the pleasant side of things."

750 ml. bottle. Bottled 2014.06.20. 8.5% ABV per the label. Pours a thick, well retained, white head, over a very slightly hazy effervescent yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is Pils malts with cereal notes, light pear, apple, hints of citrus, minimal hops.....taste is slightly sweet to start, with floral notes, light citrus, mild spice notes, including hints of clove and moderate pepper, finishing with light spice hop bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, light alcohol warmth, carbonation high with refreshing acidity. This falls well within the style. It is a bit on the sweet end of the spectrum, and better attenuation would improve that. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7
