This brew pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a medium foamy white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, yeast and caramel malt. Medium to full body with flavors of tropical fruit, earthy yeast and sweet malt. The finish is fruity with a mildly funky Belgian yeast aftertaste.Above average overall. 750ml bottle from buddy in Colorado: Pours a pale golden hue with an initial huge fluffly head and nice lacework. Really liking the nose with its combination of classic Belgian yeast esters along with lemon zest and faint mango. The taste is a tad more traditional but you still get some back notes of citrus and peppery finish. Solid pils, wheat, and biscuity malts layers. Draft. Clean golden hay pour. Aroma of grass, bubblegum, white bread. Taste is surprisingly light, crisp, and refreshing. A bit of heavy sweetness, but we’ll balanced by the typical funkwerks yeast. awterry (3) - highlands ranch, Colorado, USA - JUN 23, 2014 does not count
Bomber. Pours golden with a thick white head, nice lacing. Aroma fruity with spicy hops. Flavor medium sweet light bitter. Over all great beer.

1- alcohol and toasty malt 2- straw to yellow with a thick white head 3- sugary sweet flavor 4- low to medium body, fizzy with some slight astringency 5- A good beer and easy drinking for a 9 % beer. The residual sugar sweetness distracts

Good light floral Belgian session ale. Lots of perfume here. Pours golden with decent head and good lacing. Sweet light finish. Comes together very well. Tap at Black Squirrel. Ferris (17128) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2014
Draft - Banana and bubblegum. Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Banana and tons of fruit esters and yeast. FlacoAlto (4234) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - APR 30, 2014
A steady pour into my New Belgium tulip produces a two finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is a straw gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, stunningly bright, almost metallic, light gold hue when held up to the light. The aroma has lots of pale malt straw character, and sun-toasted pale grain, this is well balanced by fruit-laden notes of pear, lightly spicy higher alcohols, and a hint of tinny metallic character, as well as a bit of floral apple character. There is a soft earthiness to the spice character here, it almost has a bit of savory character to it that accentuates the pale malt character a bit.ModeEngage (153) - Lowell, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 30, 2014
The beer has a soft sweetness to it that is balanced by a light herbal character, a bit of metallic character, and a light bitterness in the finish. The malt character here has a nice toothsome character to it, despite being pale malt character, with a rich pale cracker character, and sweet, almost honey-like, pale malt character. Higher alcohol notes towards the finish provides some warming character as well as a bit of peppery, ginger like spiciness. There is lots of fruit character here as well; pear, floral honey notes, a touch of apple, and some clean honey dew melon character. There is a pervasive, though soft, lemon zest character, that boosts the other fruit notes and adds a nice zing to this beer.
This is quite a bit better than I was expecting; they have packed a bunch of character and complexity into this beer, much more so than I could have expected. It has been a while, this is one of the best new Trippels or Duvel-inspired beers that I have had in a pretty long time. Despite the higher alcohols, this is actually quite smooth for a beer of this strength, especially given the spiciness, and fruit character from the vivid fermentation / yeast.
Tap at the source. Pours hazy straw with thin white head that lasts and laces. Smells of esthers predominately, some banana, wheat. Drinks smoothly with little lingering bitterness. Medium bodied. Buries the alcohol. Tastes of wheat malt, esthers, sugar, and slight caramel. Crispy34 (496) - Texas, USA - FEB 24, 2014
Bomber bottle. Aroma is spicy and some citrus. Appearance is a hazy gold with some suds. Taste is like a green apple mixed with lemon citrus. Very refreshing. Palate is kinda sour. Overall, a great beer. Would buy again.
