COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light-hued beer was inspired by Belgian Tripels and Golden Strong ales. A high percentage of Pilsner malt and a new yeast strain we used present a lemon character in the aroma. This citrus quality carries into the flavor and finishes with a slight tartness. This beer is well balanced and smooth, making it easy to drink and sightly deceptive because of its high ABV.

Bottle shared during some post-bus drinking at the Downtown Inn for RBWG. Cloudy gold pour. Good floral and slightly funky nose. Cherry fruitiness with slight tartness. Pretty good.

Bomber pours a hazy orange-yellow, nice cream head with decent lacing. The aroma is quite citrus-y, but the taste has a nice bitterness to it. The citrus is noticeable in the finish too. Overall a pretty good belgian.

On tap at Colorado Plus. Gold and clear with a white head. Belgian yeast, fruity esters (lemon, apple, banana), clove, other herbs and white wine. Medium body with dry feel and a strong finish.

Gription79 (2893) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Sampled at the brewery. The aroma is musty, yeasty, pear. The flavor is sweet malts, grainy, pear. This is a solid beer.

BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Hazy honey pour with a small eggshell cap. Caramel, honey-baked biscuit, Belgian yeast, lemon zest, and tart unripened fruit. Invisible alcohol. Solid beer.

Concealer (1262) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Tap. Clear golden with a frothy, off white head. Smells of citrus, lemon zest, spices and light yeast. Flavor is sweet citrus, spices, yeast. Medium bodied with a light warmth in the finish.

notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Tap - another one-dimensional, overly sweet, overly alcoholic take on a Belgian tripel/golden strong - strong honey, moderate lemon, light pepper, moderate floral notes, a touch of moneral - other than that and a lot of apparent alcohol, not a ton happening - disappointing from this brewery.

beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - NOV 10, 2013
750 bottle that pours a lite straw colored pale yellow. A lite malt aroma mixed with some citrus and a little honey in the background. Sweet flavors of malts and lemon. Dry finish even a little astringent. Not my idea of a Strong Belgian Ale, more Saison like.

NachlamSie (3534) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2013
Goblet at Cheeky Monk. Pours gold with good lacing. Very estery nose, but not over the top. Notes of bubblegum, peppers, citrus and a little alcohol. Palate is robust and goes with the sugars well. It’s got a sweet kick to it, but dries out rapidly with spiced, peppery flavors. It’s a warming beer with noticeable alcoholic presence, but not in a negative way. Tasty, powerful take on a Belgian beer.

Sampled at GABF. Pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose of lime, a little curry aioli, pepper, lemon, hay. Flavor is sweet, honey, curry, pepper. Spicy finish. Ok.
