Pale blond color, hazy. Powerful nelson Sauvin aroma, moderately spicy flavor, lean body, blends will with a touch of Muscat grapes.
On tap at St Augustine’s, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast upfront, followed by floral hops, and cereal malt sweetness. Flavour is well-balanced between the Nelson hops that given off a lovely citrusy, floral and almost vinous hop quality, along with Belgian yeast, fruity esters and light-moderate sweetness. Not an authentic saison really, due to the sweetness, but this is certainly nicely made. Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 29, 2016
Very pale with a slight haze. Fruity, vinous and grapey. Big sugars tho. Dessert wine...so why not give it some botrytis and go all the way on it? brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 5, 2013

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2013 Bottle @ home picked up at Funkwerks. Prototype bottle release. Pours a cloudy, light yellow appearance with a big white head. Weedy, skunky herbal, fairly spicy yeasty, white wine, apple aroma that’s kind of strange. Fairly dry, crisp grainy, lemon, white grape, potpourri, herbal/floral hoppy flavor. Carbonation is really heavy. I love Nelson Sauvin hops but this one really didn’t hit the spot for me.
