COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after a distinctive New Zealand hop, this single-hop saison has a subtle aroma of white grapes and a hint of spice from our house saison yeast. An addition of Muscat grape must during fermentation plays into the grape aromas from the hops and helps dry out the finish. This dry, refreshing saison pairs perfectly with warm weather!

Tap. Hazy yellow with a thin white head that laces. Aromas of lemon, citrus, grape, light yeast and spice. Flavor is the same with a slight warmth in the end. Light bodied dry finish.

Hazy golden coloured body with a nice slightly opaque pure white glow and a small head, only about a centimetre tall on top. Aroma of grasses, hay, light yeast, citrus, bread and a dose of caster sugar - fairly dry throughout. Medium-bodied; Very grassy and herbal flavours up front with a smooth, complex yeast flavour that shows a hint of sweetness and a mellow bite of earth near the tail end. Aftertaste shows some grasses, hay, earth and a dose of flowers, all with yeast and bready flavours very strong. Overall, a nice saison that shows pretty well and has some very dry complexities. I sampled this 33 cL bottle (I bet they put it in his european sized bottle and no one knew/cares about it, and are saving 0.8 ounces on every bottle!) purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 12-March-2017 for US$3,13, sampled at home in Washington on 24-June-2017.

Bottle. This pours a hazy yellow, with a marshmallowy, silky white foam top. I think most would guess this as the saison it says it is. Indeed it delivers quite the saison character, fruity and frothy. Not sure the single hop aspect adds much attractiveness to it ... it’s a sturdy saison. (#6664, 6/15/2017)

Flight at the source during ck1 birthday trip. Smooth fruit. Tangy. The yeast is subtle as the hop melds well. Underrated hop, and interesting blend. 14.

Pours a hazy lemon yellow from a bottle. Faint lemon Italian soda aroma, first sip is a light grape followed by classic saison yeast bringing some lemon and hay, a long with a white pepper spice. Starts off round in the mouth then thins out to the traditional saison. Okay beer.

Tap at Boku to Inu. Straw gold, foamy eggshell white head and an aroma of wheat & saison spiciness while the taste adds in Nelson Sauvin white grape notes. Good stuff.

Nice pour, a tinted Chardonnay, glistening eggshell head. Aroma of melon, white grape peel, light woodiness. Honeydew on the tongue, slightly spritzy with a dry finish... Grape powers through to a lingering white grape/plum finish. Pretty good.

Light clear yellow body, very active carbonation, lots of foamy white lasting head. Sweet bubblegum yeasty vinous aroma. Taste is sweet yeasty, a faint hint of dryiness from the hops. Not bad.

Pours a hazy light yellow with some head. Aroma is pleasant and grape like. Relatively muted yeast character. Some white wine like grapeness. Really lively mouth feel. Nice straw like malt flavor. Does have a little pepper and spice flavor in the background. Tasty straightforward saison.

Tap at Futa’s. Slightly hazy, light gold, with fine head. Nice nose of Nelson Sauvin, lemon, great hop flavor, light, spritzy, clean Belgian yeasy, some sulphur. Nice stuff.

Split a 6 pack of this with my Honkey. 11.2 oz bottle packaged on 2016.07.12. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Funky aroma. Not sure how much the grape must comes through. Honkey loves the Nelsons, so this 6 pack didn’t last long.
