Bottle at the brewery. Pours a dark cloudy amber with medium beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is leather, funk, oak. Thin mouth, light tartness, oak tannin, caramel, very good. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 11, 2016
Pours a really hazy, might as well say cloudy, brown with an offwhite head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of grapes, light vinegar and light cider. Moderate acidity with some good balsamic notes. Light turned wine. Body and carbonation are both average and mouthfeel is slightly vinous with a light acetic tingle. Overall an OK oud bruin, could be better. tom10101 (6315) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 11, 2016
Bottle (750 ml) at tasting. From kcherney, thanks! Slightly hazy amber with a medium persistent than head leaving little lacing. Aroma is of berries, ketchup, caramel, earthy notes and mild spiciness. Taste is moderately acidic with berries, ketchup, mild caramel, earthy notes and mild oak spiciness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fruity finish. Soft. Nothing stellar, but a pretty good and not "extreme" interpretation of an Oud Bruin. I liked it.

Fridge temp, enjoyed with the QC tasting group.
Reddish brown pour with a small almost missing head. Classic cherry pie, honey, pecan, oak and acidic fruit tart smell. Good mouthfeel, has a nice creamy quality to it with tight small bubbles. Sour but not overpowering, has cherry, lemon, raisin, dry with almost no sweetness and a small graham cracker and ginger finish.

pours cloudy light brown, burnt orange, with a small off-white cap offering minimal retention and lacing. fruity and nutty maltiness, wood and spices, medium acidity - relatively complex flora; peppery demerara; smooth oak - smooth butter. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily; firmly tart woodsy-spicy finish. very nice american interpretation of a oud bruin. sonnycheeba (6694) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 23, 2015
Tap at brewery. Pours hazy brown. Aroma is sour dark fruit, vinegar, faint caramel, and some oak. Flavor is dry and nicely sour with great oak character and dark fruit notes. Light/medium body.
