COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delicious creation was truly a product of creativity, ingenuity and luck. In the summer of 2013 we took a test batch of our sessional sour summer ale, Provincial, that didnt quite hit gravity, and decided to have some fun with it! We added a heavy dose of raspberries. The end result was so delicious, we decided to recreate it! This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy raspberry aroma which transitions to a subtlety sweet and tart finish. Notes of lemon zest and tart raspberries.

Tap. Hazy raspberry win a thin pink white head that laces. Aromas of raspberry, tart fruit and some earthy notes. Flavor is the same with a dry finish. Light bodied.

On tap pours a murky grapefruit flesh colored pink with a small head. Smells like raspberry lemonade. Taste of tart berry into wheat and malt and light yeast. Ok.

On tap at Bangers. This is such a refreshing beer, the tartness is on the mild side and fruit flavours are well balanced. Great stuff.

11.2 oz. bottle, consumed on 11-28-16. Bottled On 2016.09.20. Pours a hazy rose with a moderate to large amount of pinkish, beige head. Pleasant but not over-the-top appearance. Fresh, unmistakably raspberry scent (fresh raspberry). Rocky, mineral, or metallic aroma. Lightly tart but mostly bland flavor. Improves on multiple sips but always underwhelms. The tartness arrives more like rhubarb than like raspberry. Lightly funky aftertaste that mimics halitosis. Light body. Frothy in the palate. Insubstantial palate effects yet somewhat bloating in its excessive frothiness. Im left quite underwhelmed. Significantly overrated here.

Poured a nice pinkish to red with a white head. Aroma was raspberry juice and lemony sourness. Flavor similar, pretty 1 note, but an easy drinker.

Cloudy golden raspberry color. Good head. Aroma is a little tart, golden malt, and hints of raspberry. Its not too sour. Its cool and balanced and full flavored but very sessionable. Not weak on flavor and not heavy in body. A solid brew.
