Bottle. Thanks to adnielsen for sending. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Citrus, lemon, grassy, doughy aromas. Spicy, lemon, citrus, grassy, white bread flavors. Pretty easy drinking light belgian ale with a touch of hops. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Pours a hazy pale golden yellow color with a big three finger sticky foam head that laces nicely. On the nose it is zesty lemon, pear, pepper, grassy hops, some yeasty spice and a touch of fresh mint and doughy malt. The palate follows the nose in complexity with a great refreshing mouthfeel. Nice balance between hops, belgian spice and bready backbone. Really enjoyable and drinkable. Thanks Adnielsen ! cthomas2390 (228) - Colorado, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Pale straw pour. Lemon and peppermint present, and citrusy hops mellow out the barnyard yeast qualities on the taste. Light and crisp, with a dry finish that makes it a very drinkable beer. cubs (10639) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Tap @ Funkwerks. Pours a hazy light yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy, peppery yeasty, rich lemon, light skunk, a bit juicy, tropical aroma. Spicy, a little bready yeasty, big lemon, lightly tart, herbal hoppy, grassy, peppery, slightly floral/soapy flavor. Pretty easy to drink but similar to some of the other products at Funkwerks, so a little boring. notalush (5883) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Tap at Funkwerks - brewed to showcase the polaris hop - cloudy gold pour with a fluffy head - loads of peppermint and pine in the nose from the hop, along with some lavender and honey - flavor is a bit sweet for the abv, but the hops kick in with some pepper and mint to balance this - some wheat and honey late - a touch of apricot and lingering bitterness in the finish - nice brew.
