3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale straw pour. Lemon and peppermint present, and citrusy hops mellow out the barnyard yeast qualities on the taste. Light and crisp, with a dry finish that makes it a very drinkable beer.
Pour is a haze pale yellow with lots of tight fluffy white head. Nose is very dusty and earthy, strong peppery spice and very soapy with light grass in back with a faint citrus. Taste is strong dust and earth. Notes of grainy biscuit, much lighter on the peppery side and a very soapy and grassy finish. Body is light with moderate carb and fairly dry finish with a subtle bitterness through the finish. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Aaron. Shared @ Bobby’s house. Hazy golden pour with a white head. Floral hops, green melon, and a bit of apple. Some spicy nutmeg notes, bread, and a subtle tartness. Interesting. Flavor is a touch sweet up front. Mild hop bitterness, lots of floral notes, and green melon. Apple, bread, and a touch of spice. Not bad. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 24, 2013
750mL thanks to brokensail. Pours a full haze bright white/straw. Thicker foam. Nose is heavy esters, big acetaldehyde/apple, celery. Taste is celery, sugar, paper, minerals. The Funkwerks house yeast and water profile has created a pervasive problem with their beers. arminjewell (9688) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Pour out of 750 mL bottle at the brewery, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice grass, white peach, pear notes into a slight biscuit, bread, herbal notes come through with a hint of yeast. Taste is a mix of white fruits, nice peach, hints of grass and spice into a biscuit middle with some yeast, finishing fairly bitter, dry. arpagamos (6) - Ault, Colorado, USA - SEP 3, 2013 does not count
Bottle from funkwerks brewery, bartender recommended it. Pours a golden fizzy yellow with a soft thick white head. I mostly get citrus and a light Belgian yeast in the nose. In the front of my tongue I get nice sweet citrus and as it moves back it becomes more spicy and bitter. Not sure how I feel about the hops, but overall a nice light summer beer.

Odd beer here with a dominant nose of lemon dish soap. Really soapy and herbal and a bit hyper carbonated. Really fizzy and lacking body a bit. Interesting but strange. Bacterial (3005) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - MAY 17, 2013
Clear yellow pour from a bottle at the brewery. Lots of white lacing. Slight citrus nose. Clean, crisp and bright taste - funky but a clear burst off hops that fades into some subtle bitterness. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle at home with friends. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a huge white head and great lacing. Grass, lemony, citrusy, soapy aroma - light biscuit, straw, somewhat tangy, pineapple, and manog. Taste is grassy, soapy, light pepper, pineapples, lemon rind, tangy, and tropical fruits with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Nice sessionable saison. On tap at Funkwerks. Golden and pretty clear with a bright white head and lacing. The aroma is pine, herbs, light citrus, mint and spices. Similar flavor with toasted malts. Light fluffy body with a crisp dry feel and a lingering bitter finish. Pretty interesting and refreshing.
