Deep orange with a thick head. There isn’t as much funk as I’d like but the barnyard aromas are pretty nice. A bunch of citrus. Jess picked this one up for me in Denver in 2013. drpimento (3732) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 25, 2017
Malty fruity Aroma with Brett. Great fluffy thick head that slowly subsides with a little lace. Flavor’s like nose, sweet bitter tart, but not overly complex. Decent body in Finish. Fairly good drinking beer. douglas88 (9571) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Bottle thanks to Dallas. Thanks man! Pours a clear copper color with a large foamy white head. The aroma is big caramel and a dry vinous woody note. The flavor similarly is a nice mix of a caramel malt, some earthy fruits, white wine with a bit of tartness and dry funk. Very drinkable and tasty. Good. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Sampled at Funkwerks on 9/30/2012. This Belgian ale pours a medium dark orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity, grassy, yeasty and slightly bretty. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy and spicy, a touch grassy as well. Nice mild lingering hoppiness with a touch of nice malt sweetness at the finish. A touch of brett, this beer is very dry. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and sweet. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. cthomas2390 (228) - Colorado, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Pours a hazy copper color. Grapefruit on the aroma eases funky yeast characteristics. Caramel and raisin do the same on the taste. Finishes fairly clean and dry.

750mL thanks to womencantsail. Pours overcarbonated, big massive Orval like foam, volcanic/rocky retention. Hazy reddish color. Nose is heavy Brett B, Orval like. Taste is essentially an Orval clone as expected- musty/dusty, heavy cedar. Palate is aerated, minerally. Very nice. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 27, 2013
750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours amber/brown with a fluffy, beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, caramel malts, a good amount of floral hoppiness, and a light Brett note. Flavor the same, with a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A pretty good beer. Leighton (22027) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2013
Bottle at the Funky 8 - Barcade, Brooklyn, NYC. Nice brett character in here, some spices, ripe fruits, moderate bitterness. Solid. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Bottle. From notes. Funky with some decent horseblanket and barnyard. A little light fruit also. Very good. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle courtesy of @@ron. Opened @ Bobby’s house. Amber pour with a huge khaki head. Crazy nose. Pineapple, peach, herbs, and tart stone fruits. A bit funky, too. Light malt sweetness. Flavor is subtle tart and quite dry. Light malt flavor and sweetness. Lots of herbs, yeast, and earthy funk. Tart stone fruit (apricots?), some peach, and citrus zest. Lots of carbonation.
