Pine and floral aroma. Deep red brown color, clear but cuts light. Licorice, toffee, and bread flavor. Warming and bubbly palate. Chewy texture that holds up. Hint of cherries comes out on later sips.

Can from Candia Road
Slightly hazy deep amber with a red tint to it. Bready caramel maltiness with some pine and light citrus to counter. somewhat bitter light aspirin in the finish lingers a bit. Not to bad kind of old school but it works. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - FEB 8, 2017
16z can. Pours a classic mahogany color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is a bit of caramel, citrus peel, white pepper and earthy grain. Palate follows the nose with some nice honeywheat bread flavors, citrusy hops, trace of bubblegum sweetness, lingering bitterness with traces of pepper and cinnamon. Sample at Great Lost Bear. Red in color.with lasting spotty head. Aroma is fruity hops, toffee, traces of pine. Flavor has a great herbal and pine bitterness that lingers well after the swallow. The malt bill is strong enough to provide balance and not become to sweet. Honesty, it drinks lower then the gravity. I feel like I could crush several pints without a problem. on draft, another malty rich caramelly beer with some light hop flavors. Its pretty good for a red ale.
