Brewed and aged for the First Annual Founders Club Party.
Barrel-Aged Muy Bonita is an Imperial version of our Bonita Applebum Apple Pie Brown Ale that’s been aged in Apple Brandy barrels for three months. We use real cinnamon, vanilla, and apples to give it an insane apple pie flavor, while the barrel aging lends soft oak flavors and a pleasant liqueur-like finish.

poured a murky brown color from the bottle, aromas of baked apples, light cinnamon, booze, and some vanilla. Flavors are dark malt with some apple and cinnamon and vanilla, with a nice boozy after taste, got lucky, this bottle was not infected, glad it wasn’t.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of calvados, caramel, spice, cocoa and light oak. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, apple, spice, calvados and cocoa with a smooth dry lingering spiced apple finish. Damn tasty!!!

Bottle @ home, thanks Jake. Holy gusher. Very dark brown in color with a tall khaki head. Smells like pennies and mulled cider. Yum a dum dum. Slight roasted malt and some apple pie, cinnamon, and maybe vanilla. Flavor is kind of roasty, ashy, and cidery. Big time apple pie and cinnamon. Slight metallic and acidic finish. Not great.

Bomber courtesy of and shared with Omgrich and Sarro @ Moeder Lambic.

Bottle shared by local tasting. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average brown head that was mostly lasting with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy spice, alcohol and apple aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium sweet apple pie flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Very good porter.

22 oz bottle shared by voodoofish65usf. Pours a hazy brown color with a large off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, apple brandy, hint of infection, but nothing that seems way off, the bottle blew half on the table and some people.
