Draft... Murky milk-colored pour with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. I’m not picking up much of an aroma - maybe some light breadiness, soapiness and a rumor of fruitiness. Light-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor offers little to nothing - maybe some yeastiness. There’s no fruit here. A refreshing glass of nothingness. Big-time "meh" here. I got a growler fill of this from an ABC store. I was really disappointed. I wonder if it may have been a bit old. It poured a beautiful hazy color with a nice white head but the beer itself was flat and tasted a bit off. I had to pour it out.

On draft. Pours a hazy golden yellow color that is topped by a small head of white foam that quickly recedes to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of fresh guava, light stone fruit, and a hint of spice to go with a light, biscuit malt base. Just a touch of hop bitterness in the back end. The flavor follows with more stone fruit, fresh guava, spices with a balancing hop bitterness. The guava flavor is really nice in this beer. Medium bodied, smooth, and easy drinking with balanced carbonation that leads a light fruity finish. Refreshing and good stuff. Really nice use of the guava in this one. Draft. Nose is stone fruit. Pour is murky dark yellow. Might be the end of the keg. Taste is slightly yeasty with moderate fruitiness. Not much else. Sort of like a fruit soda. Decent. Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2015
Opaque blond. Lightly fruity, natural nose and taste, with a fairly basic malt base. Noticeable bitterness. I like the more natural guava character.

Neat beer that tastes like straight carbonated guava juice. Only light pale malts in the background here, and it really highlights the big fruit notes. Interesting and refreshing (and slightly delicious) in the hot weather. But don’t expect much malt/hop/yeast/beer flavors to come through the big fruit flavors.
