Tap at WOB. Thick black pour. Chocolate vanilla and berry aroma with hints of roasted grain. Smooth roasted grain, no harshness at all. Lots of berry, vanilla and chocolate. Really surprised me, very good. TBone (18106) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 2, 2016
Tap at taproom as "Dread Pirate Roberts" ABV 9.0%. Opaque brown color, small brownish head. Vanilla, coconut and caramel in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweetish with vanilla, coconuts, slightly tart berries and caramel. Lacks normal impy roastyness but well-brewed. Quite sweet and berryish. smith4498 (3670) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 16, 2016

On tap in Tampa. Dark red and brown body with smooth tan head. Nose is chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Taste is sweet of coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Vanilla in the bitter finish. juiceisloose (1528) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JUL 6, 2015
Draft pour at the brewery during 2nd anniversary weekend. Dark brown pour and topped a thick head of tan colored foam. The foam quickly recedes and a leaves a thin film with some soapy wash behind on the glass. The aroma shows notes of dark chocolate, sweet raspberry, and vanilla over a dark caramel malt base. The raspberry and vanilla seem overly sweet artificial in nature. The flavor follows with the chocolate and vanilla and a medicinal like raspberry fruitiness. Not getting much coconut if any as the raspberry seems to dominate the flavor profile. Nearly full bodied and smooth on the palate with balanced carbonation leading a sweet and fruity finish. The rating seems to be a little inconsistent so this may have been an off batch. Not bad but the artificial vanilla and raspberry just didn’t do it for me.

Dark brown, raspberry, sweet, an artificial raspberry and vanilla character. I don’t think it’s awful, but it’s not my fave by any means. Just kind of weird, artificial and going nowhere. Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 6, 2015
