"You’re in the jungle now, baby!"

Thanks to an abundance of Cascade and Nelsin Sauvin hops, our flagship Hop Gun IPA is extraordinarilly tropical. So we thought - why not up the tropic factor with some chunked, whole fruit pineapple! Pineapple Hop Gun intensifies that tart pineapple aroma of the hops without overpowering them. A slight fruit sweetness from real fruit sugar blends seamlessly into the intense pineapple body and long dry finish. Cheers!

Has a soft grain and hop aroma, minimal head and a modest yellow body. Flavour is very muted pineapple and some grain, IPA stands out but nothing fruity or pineapple-ish. Muddled mouthfeel and finish. Standard IPA, couldn't find the pineapple.

Light brassy colour. Bright pineapple, very sweet pineapple and a light bitterness. Sweet with bright piña taste...ok this is a pretty happy concept for me.

I do not go for fruity beers but when a well done IPA captures the essence of pineapple it is a thing of beauty. One of my favorite FB offerings to date (granted I have a whole lot more to try). Lovely golden color, perfectly carbonated and hopped. Crisp and refreshing yet tropical. Yum.

Golden color with a small, white head, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, some tropical fruits. Taste of citrus, pineapple, pine, and some grapefruit in the finish.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2014 On tap at Cambridge for PBW. Oh holy hell, this would have been my favorite IPA of PBW this year had Cigar City not stolen it with the White Oak bluebs! But this, this is another special brew. Pours a hazy amber orange color with a white foam head. Aroma of a pineapple crawling up your nose with some grapefruit hanging around. The flavor is as if you are drinking puréed pineapple with perfect, soft citrus hop notes. Perfectly balances. Leaves you wanting more. Bravo!

On tap at the Churchville Inn. Clearish orange brown with a white head leaving lots of lacy speckles. Nose is fresh pineapple, grass, toffee and orange peel. Medium light with soft carb. Flavor is kind of watery; muted pineapple, grass and toffee. Lingering sweetness.

Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Pours hazy amber orange with a beige head. Aroma brings delicious sweet pineapple and citrus fruit, juicy in the nose. The flavor pronounces the natural pineapple and juicy sweet fruit even more so quenching he thirst so nicely. A juicy malty backbone works really well with the tropical flavor profile!

Thought I ticked this one already. Tap at churchville, clearish gold color. Really cloying sweetness and overripe pineapple. I used to enjoy these types of IPAs 5-6 years ago but now I need the juicy dankness that maintains balance and limits sweetness.

Draft. Yellow golden pour with tan head. Super pineapple and sweet citrus hop aromas. Nice grassy and pineapple hop flavors.

4 oz sample draft at the brewery in Oakland Park, Florida. The pour is a lightly hazed golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is bright pineapple citrus along with the traditional resin floral hop character of the base beer. The taste is big pineapple fruit initially, round and sweet, then dries out with the resin and floral towards the back. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a lingering sweet pineapple finish. This beer is exactly as advertised, I enjoyed it, though a full pint of this would be a lot for me.
