"You can be my wingman anytime." -Iceman

In a veritable sea of India Pale Ales, what does it take to leap out from the rest? To us, the answer is Hop Gun IPA. Lift a pint – from first sniff to last sip, our flagship IPA drinks like an ode to hoppy goodness. Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin hops burst forth with an unmistakably heady aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, honey, melon, and pineapple mingle with a malt body that balances caramel and biscuit character with a pronounced dry finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Washed rind cheeses, chipotle chicken wings, Thai red curry, hoisin-glazed roast duck, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops, fresh-baked cherry pie.

Poured from tap at Funky Buddha. Pours a hazy copper color. Not overly hoppy, slight pineapple taste. Very smooth. Nice aftertaste.

Taps clear dark amber with a thin but serviceable buff head that leaves good lacing. Aroma presents hoppy, grapefruit, floral, woody and fresh malt notes. Flavor delivers hops, zesty grapefruit, floral and malty character - quite enjoyable. Body is quite firm, fizz is lively and lasting. I feel the need - the need for beer!

Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Smells of pineapple grapefruit resin. Taste is bitter and sweet - pineapple, dank resin, caramel cake.

Appearance: hazy pale amber with one fat finger of rocky ivory head diminishing gradually to a thick creamy cap, soapy patchy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: grapefruit, melon, caramel, white grape must, hint of pine. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, high bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (4/5) Couldn’t make out the entire bottling date, but it’s definitely early 2017, so it’s not very old. Aromas and taste are pleasant and inoffensive, with just a hint of the vinous white grape I associate with Nelson Sauvin, and a tempered bitterness that integrates the higher ABV well. Really reminds me of their More Moro, but without the citrus juice - and, more importantly, without that vegetal edge. Subtle? Hell, no, but it’s a solid hop bomb, emphatic without being too brutal. A nice IPA. Well balanced, solid citrus flavors. Not too strong, alcohol is masked. Nice body, very clean. Very sessionable.

On tap, part of flight at brewery. Underwhelming aroma that is more malty than hoppy. Appearance is very nice - light crimson with a trace of a cream colored head. Tastes inoffensive with a moderate amount of earthy dank hops, not a hop punch. Mild and drinkable. Good palate with lively carbonation. This was good. I could drink a lot of these in the summer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Luvystypotables (1967) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - MAR 15, 2017
A well balanced and sessionable beer, the aroma is subdued but has notes of grapes, tropical fruit, caramel and light hops, pours a caramel color with an off white head. Light carbonation with a medium body and a balanced taste of fruit, hops and caramel with a lightly bitter malt finish.

On draft at World of Beer in The Villages, Florida. Orange to copper hued body with an off-white head that coats the glass in lacing. Light orange body, transparent, thick head that leaves copious lacing. Melon, pineapple, citrus. Light to medium in body. Hop forward with medium high bitterness. Tasty.
