COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"You can be my wingman anytime." -Iceman

In a veritable sea of India Pale Ales, what does it take to leap out from the rest? To us, the answer is Hop Gun IPA. Lift a pint from first sniff to last sip, our flagship IPA drinks like an ode to hoppy goodness. Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin hops burst forth with an unmistakably heady aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, honey, melon, and pineapple mingle with a malt body that balances caramel and biscuit character with a pronounced dry finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Washed rind cheeses, chipotle chicken wings, Thai red curry, hoisin-glazed roast duck, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops, fresh-baked cherry pie.

On tap at the hotel bar. Aroma is fairly hop forward with a balanced, moderately strong malt note. Lots of grapefruit and line resin. Malt is cracker, but also quite a bit of lighter caramel and some toasted bread. Pours a fairly clear, copper color with a small, thick white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with a balanced, fairly strong bitterness. Some caramel and toasted bread notes with a bit of a cracker and biscuit character. Moderate hop notes with grapefruit, pine resin and hop oils being lost prevalent. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a clean IPA but very boring. Old school hop and malt profile.

A very mild IPA. A bit of toasty malt is perhaps stronger than the hops. Slight candied sweetness.

Hop Gun IPA has a thick, off-white head, an opaque, brilliant orange appearance, and a bit of lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of citrus and white bread, and the flavor is that citrus-style hop oil, riding with sweet white bread and white bread crust in the back seat. Mouthfeel is medium, and Hop Gun finishes puckering and dry. RJT
