"You can be my wingman anytime." -Iceman

In a veritable sea of India Pale Ales, what does it take to leap out from the rest? To us, the answer is Hop Gun IPA. Lift a pint – from first sniff to last sip, our flagship IPA drinks like an ode to hoppy goodness. Galena, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin hops burst forth with an unmistakably heady aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, honey, melon, and pineapple mingle with a malt body that balances caramel and biscuit character with a pronounced dry finish.

Pairing Suggestions: Washed rind cheeses, chipotle chicken wings, Thai red curry, hoisin-glazed roast duck, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops, fresh-baked cherry pie.

This IPA was tasted after tequila, hops, was drinkable, that is pretty much all I got.

Shared 12 oz. bottles poured to snifters showing a hazed, orangey/gold color, with a modest layer of bubbly, soft white foam, and spots of lacing. The nose was ripened fruit as citrus, melon, a touch of tropical scent, some herbal hints, grass & greenery. Usually it's the other way around, but the taste was a nice recovery, with expressive, citrusy tartness & tanginess, a bit of caramel sweetness, a little less than medium body, with decent carbonation, and citrus & rind-like bitterness.

Smells like sweet raisins. No head and a weak dark gold body. Flavour is fruity hops, sharp and distinct. Good oiliness, decent mouthfeel. An okay IPA, abv is well hidden.

Pours a hazy, amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is citrus and pine hops with caramel malts. Flavor is less hoppy than expected. Still petty well balanced but not as carbonated as usual.

Well there was definitely something funky about this alleged hop-bomb (or hop-missile? given the hop cone warheads on the label art, haha) of an IPA. Poured a little darker than an average IPA but still a standard amber-orange color, released a strong aroma of tropical fruit and even stronger warm malt on the nose, struck me right away as a more East Coast rendition given the hefty malt presence. Flavor followed with initial notes of grapefruit and pineapple hops, which quickly shifted into a strong flavor of sugary caramel malt, along with some surprising notes of Belgian estery sweetness. Rather than being a bitter hop-heavy IPA, this actually could be easily mistaken for a full Belgian IPA. Although not as hoppy and bitter as the name would suggest, the fruity hoppy highlights were still enjoyable - I specifically noticed the aromatic grapefruit presence of the Nelson Sauvin hops throughout. On the other hand, I personally did not care for the candy sweetness of the malt - if you're looking for some bracing bitterness in an IPA, this will disappoint. Still an overall enjoyable Belgian-accented East Coast IPA.

Taps clear dark amber with a thin but serviceable buff head that leaves good lacing. Aroma presents hoppy, grapefruit, floral, woody and fresh malt notes. Flavor delivers hops, zesty grapefruit, floral and malty character - quite enjoyable. Body is quite firm, fizz is lively and lasting. I feel the need - the need for beer!

Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Smells of pineapple grapefruit resin. Taste is bitter and sweet - pineapple, dank resin, caramel cake.
