22 oz beer aquired through beer trade. Tastes of dark chocolate, dark roast coffee and vegitable notes on the back end. Really deep and thick taste. Really nice. PhillyBeer2112 (2958) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - FEB 14, 2018
Well, I give FB some shit for many of their "kitchen sink concoction" beers that, while executed well, often contain ridiculous ingredients and flavors for a beer. But when they do regular beers, their ability to execute stands out. Such is the case here, with a big imperial stout that remains rather drinkable, full of roast flavors, plenty of residual sweetness (not too much, but the point is I've had a lot of coffee stouts that come across as thin and dried out) and a nice coffee complement. Hopping doesn't stand out, but the bittering at the finish is enough to counteract the maltiness. I'd compare this to the best coffee stout I've ever had, Speedway Stout, but then it's been 10 years since I've tried Speedway. AirForceHops (8286) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 31, 2017
22 oz. bottle. Aroma is over extracted coffee and strong vanilla bean. The flavor has a strong amount of coffee with a smooth vanilla finish. ABV is mostly hidden. Slight, slight bitterness. Actually, real surprised how good this is. AdamChandler (5252) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 31, 2017

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2017 22 oz bottle shared with Tmoney99 and wihorock. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, barrel character, tobacco body is a bit thin for all the stuff going with this beer, very good but.... UPDATED: JAN 28, 2018 Bottle sent by Homer321(thanks tons!), shared at game night. Near black with a light brown head. Rich robust coffee aroma and flavour with creamy sweetness and spicy undertones. Delicious. juiceisloose (1637) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JUN 25, 2017
22 oz bottle. Pours nearly pitch black in color with some mahogany at the edges and topped by a thick tan colored layer of foam that settles in nicely to a thin film and leaves streaks of lace around the glass. The aroma is nice showing huge notes of roasted coffee, espresso, dark and milk chocolate, and toasted vanilla. The earthy, roasty espresso is the star of this show though. The flavor follows suit and shows some more of the dark roasted malts, earthy roasted coffee, and dark chocolate up front and balanced out nicely by the toasted vanilla. Some burnt caramel shows up as well to add further depth. The vanilla really tries to smooth out the big roasted coffee and espresso flavors, but the deeply roasted coffee is bold and in your face. Nearly full bodied and smooth with balanced carbonation that leads to a lengthy roasted espresso and toasted vanilla finish. This is a solid stout with coffee and I like the addition of the vanilla, but it’s not as balanced as I’m looking for. Big and bold with huge coffee notes is what they were going for and Funky Buddha nailed that. Ahuth (665) - Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2017
Draft. Pours black with a nice head. The taste is big coffee. Vanilla under tone with a malty chocolate finish. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAY 22, 2017
22, capped. Pours an opaque mahogany with a dense and creamy dark tan head. Big sticky sweet chocolate, vanilla, and coffee nose. Sticky thick heavy body with moderate carb. Residual sugars, coffee, vanilla, and chocolate on the mid palate. Like a melted candy bar. Cloying finish.
