COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Imperial version of our Last Snow porter is a rich, thick, decadent treat. Pitch black and viscous, it’s made with coconut and fresh roasted coffee. We then age it in Bourbon barrels for months to accentuate the vanilla and coconut notes. Originally brewed in collaboration with our friends at Park Tavern in Delray Beach.

22, capped. Thanks, R! Perfect way to bring the notes from the Florida Taste to a close. Pours an opaque dark mahogany with a dense and creamy dark tan head that goes away. Big sweet nose, but not cloying; well-balanced: coconut, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, oak, apricot, all working together. Sticky thick heavy body with moderate carb. Nice palate of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, vanilla, apricot, and coconut. Harmonious and not as far over the top as a lot of these other FL impies. Whew. Mild earthy sweet chocolate finish.

Sampled at gregwilsonstl's house. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of coconut, coffee, bourbon, vanilla and some oak. The taste was similar to the aroma with more coconut, coffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak, alcohol and medium carbonation with a nice aftertaste. Really tasty.

Sampled at Gregwilsonstl’s tasting. A good bit of amber in this dark brown beer. Big vanilla, coconut, milder whiskey, tobacco. Really good. Even exceptional.

Vanilla aroma. Tons of vanilla and coconut. So smooth. So good. Tad chocolate. Not getting much coffee. Tasted at my Plants and Animals Bottle share.

Bottle - Black with a ring of tan head. Nose is vanilla, coconut, suntan lotion, chocolate, and a bit of harsh booze. Taste is the same, with the barrel coming out--oaky, caramelly, boozy, and sweet. Slick, oily, and thick.

Bottle from generous trade with Homer over the summer 2017, drank Oct. 31, 2017. Thanks again! Dark brown black with coffee crema head that fades fast. Nose is dark coffee and dark roast malts, some coconut, bourbon barrel, and vanilla. Taste is sweet vanilla with some bitter coffee finish. Rich with flavors of coconut, coffee, and vanilla. Probably a shadow of what it was but still solid beer for a Halloween night.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Pitch black with a solid tan head. Nose is big on bourbon, spice, charr, light peppermint, cocoa rub, toffee melt. Taste comprises dark chocolate Bounty Bar, light spice, bourbon xoak, toffee fudge, coconut shavings, moderate roast, mellow booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Solid well balanced BA affair - top draw !

Very dark brown pour, minimal head quickly recedes to nothing. Tons of coffee on the nose, little coconut and chocolate. Flavor is rich coffee followed by equal amounts of chocolate and coconut. The bourbon barrel is on the back end, with a little alcohol heat and flavor. Finishes drier and more bitter than expected. Medium body with little carbonation. Overall this is very tasty. It reminds me of some mocha coconut K-cups that I got for Christmas.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration Boston. Coconut overload. Nice adjunct stout as to be expected from FB.
