Absolutely incredible beer. Very smooth, the coconut rounds the beer out VERY well. One of if not, my favorite porter. BiiruBierBeer (1056) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - OCT 23, 2015
Holy shit this smells amazing. Smell is heavy coconut, caramel, cream, and mild creamy coffee. Taste is the same. Amazing. Medium body, medium carbonation, and no foam. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 10, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2012 Pours dark unclear coffee in color with a decent tan head. The perfect aroma is cooling roasted coconuts so sweet and pleasant in the nose. The flavor is similar, but coffeee rounds out the almond joy flavors so well on the medium but just right body. PhillyCraft (7741) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2013 On tap at Capones, pours a pitch black with thin clear bubble head, no lacing. Aromas and taste of mounds bar, ample dark chocolate, toasted coconut, espresso, vanilla bean, roasty malts, marshmallow. So drinkable at 6.3%. My favorite of the event. Cheers Ryan. Tried again at monks, just as much mounds bar, this shit is insane!

Thank you Mathieu87 & PriorL! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ “Mathieu’s house cooling party”. Dark brown black with little mocha. Smell, I have had coconut beers before that promised to smell like liquid Bounty, this might be the first one to nail that 100 %. This just smells like massive in your face liquid Bounty, chocolate, coffee, cacao, vanilla,… Ridiculous. Taste is massive Bounty & even more sweet coconut, sugar, cold coffee, chocolate syrup, brownie, chocolate,… Ridiculous coconut, adjunct heavy to the max. Glorious. Lacks some body for a bit to fully complete it but I absolutely adore it as it is now. Glorious. Brostrander23 (1) - Davie, Florida, USA - NOV 21, 2016 does not count
Like at first when you pour it, you see this sensual dark color with a light tan head that hugs the glass elegantly, then you hold the glass up and admire the artwork of which you are about to consume and embark on the amazing journey. Then you put the glass to your lips and take the first sip. You get the mild malt/coffee flavor from the head of the beer, then the mild carbonation and the dark, coconut, coffee flavor that every man dreams of. It’s sweet, yet coffee bitter, yet smooth, and purely sensational. And pure euphoria. Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Don’t know what to say. Smelled like those vanilla cappuccinos that you get at 7-11. LOTS of vanilla, coffee, coconut, pound cake and roast. The flavor was somehow just the same, only with a smooth carbonation that gave off a light earthy and more roasted/dry finish. One of the best beers I’ve ever had. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Pours black with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma has excellent taosted coconut and coffee notes. Flavor follows suit...simple and just perfect. Mouthfeel is medium/full and silky with a lingering coffee finish. Fabulous! Ratman197 (15228) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 26, 2013
1 litre swing top growler poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting tanhead. Aromas of coconut, roasted malt, dark chocolate, carmel and coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, coconut, dark chocolate, vanilla and light carmel with a smooth dry lingering chocolate coconut finish.
