Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Thanks Matt! Pours a deep brown with almost no head. Strong aromas of maple syrup, smoke, uncured ham and light coffee. More maple on the palate, with a bit more of the coffee perceivable. Sweet but the smokey umami balanced it out just enough. Maple slightly overpowers the other flavors, but it still comes out pretty awesome. Light coffee roast on the finish. Another great drop from Funky Buddha. 2018/03/10 - Pours a dark brown cola colour with a frothy khaki head that slowly reduces and leaves no lacing. Aroma is amazing; smells like breakfast in a glass. Roasted coffee, sweet maple syrup, pancakes, smokey bacon, chocolate and toffee. Taste follows nose; loads of maple syrup, smokey bacon, and roasted coffee with hints of toffee, pancakes and chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium and silky smooth with creamy carbonation and a sweet, roasted finish. Exceptional.

Draft at Crafthouse in Arlington. Dark brown pour with a slight off white head. Excellent maple and toasted malt nose. Excellent taste, coffee, sweet but not cloying. Maple is more of a background to the coffee and roasted malt versus being so prominent in the nose. Well done. Bacchus66 (1162) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2018
Tap, Hive. Dark brown with a thin tan head and excellent lacing. Heavy maple syrup nose. Dark roasted malt, coffee, bacon. Thick, smooth texture. Lingering semi-sweet, maple finish. Reminiscent of pancakes and sausages with plenty of maple syrup, delicious.

Bottle. Black pour with a short tan head. Aroma is maple syrup, roasted malt, dark chocolate, and caramel. Taste is roasted malt, caramel, maple syrup, dark chocolate, coffee, and toasted grains. Body is medium with a dense, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more maple syrup, roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, light candy bar notes and toasted grains. Nice! jrob21 (3965) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 25, 2018
Bomber from ET but now it’s in town regularly. Super sweet toffee and lots of maple. Bittersweet coffee later in the sip. Roasty malt in the aroma. Porter carries the adjuncts well. The beer is almost secondary to the maple sweetness. Not getting a lot of bacon but the others are nice and complementary. Luvystypotables (2136) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 18, 2018
