On tap at the Buddha. Dark brown pour with an off white head. Very nice roasted malt aromas. Dark roasted malts, mild bitterness, mild black coffee, and obscure bitter chocolate notes. Average body and mouthfeel. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Growler thanks to ctipping! Roasty and rich, bitter coffee finish, creamy, I like it haukur (1957) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - AUG 8, 2013
draft at the source. Loads of vanilla, coffee and cake in the aroma. Sweet, with iced coffee notes and some roast in the finish but in the end the sweetness overcomes the roast. Excellent porter biggsbowler (625) - Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA - JUL 23, 2013
Draft at the Funky Buddha - Pours dark black w/ tan head. Lots of coffee and chocolate in the nose. More of a milk chocolate taste with coffee almost like a cafe con leche. Really smooth from start to finish.

On tap at Funky Buddha Oakland Park. Pours black with a brown head and very nice aroma of straight coffee beans, smells like a Starbucks. Taste is all coffee and mocha, almost like an iced coffee, with slight vanilla while light and drinkable. A lot of pronounced coffee flavor, nice porter

Pour a dark brown black color with a small head. Nose is dark roasted coffee with rich chocolate and vanilla notes.Taste is deep dark roasted coffee with chocolate and vanilla notes as well.Light despite the ABV. Nice porter. Quaff Score 7 / 10....can probably ice it, and have a couple at poolside. hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 9, 2011
Draft… Pours black with a mid-sized, creamy, khaki head. The nose provides big-time coffee grounds and moderate milk chocolate with a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied and silky with tickling carbonation. Great balance – leans only mildly bitter. Huge deep-roast coffee flavor with a less significant facet of dark chocolate. Roasty, lightly bitter, acrid finale. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2011
On draft at the Buddha for their special Thursday night release. I think I walked into this one thinking "southern tier mokah" which wasn’t the case at all with this one. Definitely mocha, coffee, and chocolate in the nose but not over the top sugary sweet that Southern Tier Mokah is. It’s a very good beer, once it warms up a bit the flavors really come out.
