Our search for the finest cocoa nibs brought us to the far corners of the earth. We tried them all: raw nibs from Guatemala; roasted jewels from the West Indies. But the most potent, intensely chocolatey ones we found hailed from the far-away reaches of Brazil. But there was one problem. We had to get them back. So with sacks in tow, we stole away with those precious nibs and smuggled them, along with fragrant Madagascar vanilla beans, deep into the reaches of a pitch black milk porter. And so, Nib Smuggler Chocolate Milk Porter was born.

On tap at WOB in Destin. FB does dark beers exceptionally well. While not in my top five FB beers it is a strong entry other breweries would have as their flagship. Chocolate, vanilla, and what taste like a bit of Baileys Irish Cream invade your mouth. It could be more chewy, a bit thin for my taste.

Some cocoa and caramel. Dark brown pour with decent head. Well mixed like blenders. Creamy consistency. Bittersweet finish. Roasty. Tap at World of Beer in Miami.

From a bottle. This is a delicious beer, the cocoa is super smooth but its not overly sweet, one of my favourites.

This was outstanding. Cola colored beer with a thin, off-white head. Aromas of coffee and milk chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, some mild coffee, some toasted barley, and nice hints of vanilla. Kind of like chocolate milk. Silky smooth and easy to drink. Highly recommended beer.

Funky Buddha Nib Smuggler taste just like a chocolate milk. Dark pour with quickly disappearing brown head. A little malt and chocolate aroma. Taste is sweet and chololately with definite presence of lactose. Pretty good. FB nails the description.

4 pack shared with my fairer half. Pours deep jet black, two finger sized khaki head. Lots of vanilla and cocoa. Full bodied but with a silky and creamy mouthfeel.
