12 oz bottle from Florida served in a goblet.
This is a classic dessert beer. It’s sweet but not cloying, with a very strong influence of cocoa nibs and moderate vanilla bean. The aroma features cocoa, subtle vanilla, dark bread, and a hint of coffee.
Overall: Good balance, lots of flavor and an enticing aroma. Worth seeking out. Dogbrick (14343) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2016
Sample at the "Post Beer Week Bottle Share" on 06/06/16. Pours a dark brown color with a medium creamy tan head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Pours with a huge amount of carbonation. The aroma and flavor are both muted. I did not expect this beer to be delicate. There are the chocolate notes, and creamy porter notes. The body is thin. I think this may have had an infection/wild yeast. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - APR 1, 2016
