COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our search for the finest cocoa nibs brought us to the far corners of the earth. We tried them all: raw nibs from Guatemala; roasted jewels from the West Indies. But the most potent, intensely chocolatey ones we found hailed from the far-away reaches of Brazil. But there was one problem. We had to get them back. So with sacks in tow, we stole away with those precious nibs and smuggled them, along with fragrant Madagascar vanilla beans, deep into the reaches of a pitch black milk porter. And so, Nib Smuggler Chocolate Milk Porter was born.

Bottle shared with Timfoolery. Smelled of cocoa. Had the texture of Guiness on the mouth, but more chocolate and full flavored. Decent beer.

On tap at Lost and Found, pours a watery brown with a ring of white head. Nose has chocolate, root beer, malt. Flavor is malty, rootbeer, chocolate chews. Finishes sweet but thin too.

Draught at Row 34, 2/22/17.
Dark cocoa-mahogany with a tan head showing strong retention.
Strong fudge, dusty cocoa and a fair amount of prune interlaced with light lactose which adds both sweet and tart. Bready and lightly caramelic on the finish with no alcohol or flaw.
Lots of malt, fudge, chocolate and light lactose in this one. Some thinning on the end, though it still retains plenty of sugar. Light roast, spice and almost cinnamon-like on the end with no alcohol or flaw. Just a touch too much sweet/tart and dry cocoa juxtaposition for me with lots of lingering fudge. Low to moderate, fairly engaging carbonation with no alcohol or flaw.

Marrom bem escura, turva, espuma de mdia formao e pouca persistncia. No aroma bastante cacau/chocolate, baunilha, em segundo plano coco queimado. Paladar de mdio dulor caramelado e leve amargor do torrado. Corpo mdio e cremoso, mdia carbonatao. Final mantm a potncia do dulor e leve amargor, continua evidenciando a baunilha e cacau mais que o coco. timo exemplar do estilo.

Pours mahogany tinged black into a shaker. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet milk chocolate aromas. Dry with sweet milk chocolate and soy upfront turning to mild pumpernickel in the sharp, medium-length finish.

Pours a dark brown with a thin mocha head. Aroma of chocolate, chocolate milk and marshmallows. Taste follows, a bit too thin but tasty nonetheless

Pours a dark brown with red highlights. On top sits a white rim that leaves some lacing. Nose is of powdered cocoa, Quik. Taste is more dry powdered cocoa, chocolatey. Just too sweet and chocolatey for me, really. Body and carbonation are moderate. Really similar to Samuel Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout, I can confidently say that I would never crave it again. Meh.

Pitch black pour with ruby highlights and a short beige head and decent retention. Minimal lacing. Clean and smooth dark roasted cocoa and malt flavors. 6.3 ABV is well hidden.

I really like this beer! Dark pour with a tan head and good lacing. Strong aroma of chocolate malt that matches the flavor. Very smooth mouthfeel and the rich flavors are sweet and enjoyable.
