Bottle shared at the Craft. Opaque black - brown beer, little pale bubbly tan head. Light crispy palate. Sweet and sour beer! Sweet lacto contrasts nicely with the tang - which is bordering on sour. These two aspects in a mellow dark malt backdrop that has a trace of roast. Smooth semi dry finish. Nice easy going and interesting porter.
Draft at Churchkey. Deep ruby maroon color. Decent roast aroma. Taste is rich espresso and nutty cocoa. Leighton (22820) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2012
Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London during the 1st Birthday Celebration. Thanks to Ken for this beer. I believe this was a handbottle or growler. Pours rich brown with a foamy, tan head. Some tandy dark malts on the nose. Medium sweet flavor, lightly roasty, with some honey and plenty of tang. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light to medium sweet finish with tangy, lightly roasted malts and a mead-like honey note. If the tang here is intentional, it isn’t great; however, I’m guessing it’s not on purpose - a pity, as this is my first beer from Funky Buddha. harrisoni (19549) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2012
Bottle Craft Beer Co. slightly sour fruity porter. Its ok. Quite drinkable sone oilyness some grainy malt. Sour. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 19, 2012
Medium-dark brown. The aroma is mostly diacetyl with nuttiness. Harshly astringent, toasty, nutty and full of butter. Gotta take it off tap when it turns.

Mini growler thanks to my Uncle! Black. Tan head. Nose of coffee, roast chocolate malt and vanilla. Taste of same with lactose sweetness. Full body. Nice burnt roast flavor mixed with the lactose. Ferris (17107) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 18, 2015
Draft - Lots of dark roast with a bit of burnt toast. Jet black with a decent beige head. Dark roast, light Berry notes and some burnt toast in the finish. djd07 (16307) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast and chocolate. Medium mouth with light smoke, dark chocolate, sugary malt, sweet, good. Scopey (16275) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2012
Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours very dark brown, with a tan head. The nose is dark chocolate, roasted malt, rye bread and spice. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, rye bread, bitter chocolate, spice, touch of lactose (but not as much as anticipated) and metal, with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. An ok porter, but below average in comparison to their other beers. Ratman197 (15624) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2015
On tap at The Brass Tap poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light coffee. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bitter chocolate and light coffee with a smooth lingering bitter chocolate finish.
