Draft... Intriguing, murky, pear-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head that is lasting, but thin. Medium-bodied and ultra-creamy with vibrant carbonation. The flavor is tart, but not sour, with very little fruitiness or acidity. There’s even a whisper of bread crust bitterness here. I’m trying two more new Florida Weisses tonight and I’m hoping the other two aren’t lacking in acidity as this one clearly is. On draft at Funky Buddha. Went way back in my notes for this one. I tasted this around the time of American Craft Beer Week I think. Nice sour funk happening here, like most of their berliners. Pours super hazy/cloudy mango orange color. Aroma of pineapple. Very low carbonation on the palate. Sour pear and pineapple flavors dominate. Drinks more like a cider than a beer. Sour and flat, with a non existent alcohol taste.
