Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Crisp palate, a tad dry but with fine carbonation. Tart fruit, sourish passion fruit with a smooth wheat malt base. Finishes semi dry and with enough sour passion fruit to induce an eye flutter! Refreshing tasty beer!
Straw colour and a thin head. Rich, rich passionfruit nose. . Big passion flavour and a creamy body. Oh yeah. Lip-smacking good. A tiny bit thin but people need to make more passion fruit beer. This is the Funky Buddha I’ve been hearing about. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 4, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Pale yellow, stable right thin white head. Thick lace. Color lame, everything else about appearance great. Aroma is excellent extraction of the passion. Soft palate. A little too soft, would be great with more carbo. Flavor like real passion fruit, and yet it doesn't ignore the fact that it's a beer! Nice, light, refreshing, and full flavored.

On draft at the Funky Buddha, poured a golden color with aromas of a lot fruit, mostly passion fruit. Flavor is tart passion fruit, spice, wheat, and tart grapefruit. Overall a refreshing beer that had some nice fruit flavor that traditionally doesn’t go in a wheat beer. Kudos to the Funky Buddha for this great and interesting beer. Small growler supplied by Jayson at StateLine.. Kick ass nose of grapefruit and passionfruit (which I havent had in a long time). Orange-ish in color small head. Taste just like it smells, tons of grapefuit and passion fruit with an overall sour/tartness. Light bodied and really easy to drink. Wish I had my own! Thanks jayson!

Draft… Cloudy golden ale with a small, wispy, white head. The bouquet is very, very fruit forward and God bless it – tons of passion fruit and pink grapefruit. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The dry, grainy, spicy wheat backbone supports loads of delicious passion fruit flavor and tanginess. Finishes crisp, very clean and fairly dry. Lovely. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - DEC 9, 2011
On draft at the Buddha. Wheat ale..? Umm more like a sour to me. Perhaps the passion fruit is a sour fruit but this definitely holds the tangy, tart quality of a sour to me. Almost like their berliner series. Good fruity, tart, slight grassy aroma with a sour kick in the flavor. Great drinking beer and quite a surprise to me. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 24, 2011
Draft at FB. Hazy golden tan, unfiltered...not much head. Pronounced passionfruit aroma and taste, quite tasty and aromatic. Very drinkable and fruit forward, this is a very nice and refreshing beer. Slightly tangy, with a golden malt backbone. Very clean,
