COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional German Berliner weisse beers are tart affairs, often sweetened by the addition of woodruff syrup. Brewed with white wheat malt and fermented with lactobacillus, our tart Berliner riffs on this popular German tradition with the inclusion of fresh raspberries. The delicate and mildly sweet notes of the rasberries offsets the inherent tartness of this weisse beer, making for a intoxicatingly fruity, yet refreshing experience.

Very nice, great integration of raspberries. Yeasty berliner aroma hangs around while the raspberry takes center stage. Pours cloudy pink with good head and lacing. Light sour and tart finish. Great balance. Some citrus as well. Tap at brewery.

GABF 2014. Pours a hazy pinkish reddish appearance with a pinkish tan head. A lot of berry fruitiness, clean, and refreshing but not overly complex. Fun to drink soda.

Bright reddish-pink pour, small pink head. Nice sour raspberry profile, plain yogurt, lemons, white wine vinegar. Nice stuff. GABF

Sampled on Tap at GABF 2014. Pour is beautiful pink/salmon color with small white head and decent lacing. Funky, lactic, a touch of wheat in the aroma - but definitely more fruit forward - raspberry skins, dark berries, light citrus notes, and white grapes. Taste is big strawberry and raspberry skins, lemon, lactic notes, a touch of vanilla with a semi-tart finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Solid offering, but not quite as nice as the passion fruit.

"way overdone on the lemony sourness and the fruit, as far as traditional berliners are concerned...but that’s a good thing. this beer actually was reminiscent of Cantillon, with that type of astringent sourness. pale pink pour...odd looking but smells and tastes great. a little gassy on the feel, otherwise a great brew. AWESOME Rx label!"

on draft at brewery, yup fantastic, these guys really make a nice berliner. Tart and a touch of funky sourness, rich deep raspberry flavors. This one is fantastic!

Draft at the Funky Buddha Lounge 3rd anniversary. Snifter. Awesome pink-red pour with a thin light pink head. No lacing. Aroma is very raspberry and an acidic funk. The taste is mostly raspberry, lemon and passionfruit. Acidic and tart. Very light and refreshing. Mild carbonation. Fruity, raspberry finish. Oh so damn good.
