My Bottom Line :
Vanilla pods sweeten up this Stout’s raspberry juices for a successful, very sweet dessert brew.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam covers the dark brown.
-This quickly gets cloying if you are not in the mood for sweetness. However, dessert lovers should like it a lot. Black Forest cake replacement, perhaps?
-With the prominent vanilla flavors and raspberry juice, one wonders what the base beer contributes....
-Body is relatively lean for a dessert brew. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t dry at all. Nitrogen could have worked well here though to whip up some body and give tastebuds some air.
-Funky Buddha brewers must meet with Southern Tier people...
