On tap at Lost and Found, pours a clear garnet amber with a ring of white head. Nose has malt, cherry, dried apple, root veg. Flavor is malty, sugary, a weird apple/carrot thing. Finishes watery. An over sweet red ale. radagast83 (8690) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 12, 2017
Draft pour at Lost & Found. Poured kind of a ruby red color with a little off-white head. Aroma was some light chocolate, some fruity notes. Sweet malts. Flavor was about the same - dark chocolate, berry. solidfunk (9789) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 11, 2017
Syrup and some roast. A little vanilla and some cocoa and rust. Not super pleasant - too much mess going on here. Tap at Lost and Found thanks to DCLawyer. juiceisloose (1606) - Windermere, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2017
Draft pour at the Brass Tap. Pours a mostly clear, dark reddish brown color and topped by a thin off white head of foam that fades away quickly to some bubbles. The aroma is really nice and shows notes of dark cocoa, cake batter, and toasted vanilla to go with the bready and caramel malts. Smells very similar to a piece of red velvet cake. The flavor follows suit with the cocoa, caramel, and toasted vanilla up front to go with notes of cake batter and sweet malts. Medium bodied with subtle carbonation that leads to a vanilla cake finish. A touch on the sweet side, but pretty darn tasty too. sonnycheeba (6694) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 27, 2017

Draft at the Brass Tap. Pours clear reddish brown with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like chocolate malt, red velvet cake, light booze, and some roasted coffee. Medium body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like red velvet cake, chocolate malt, and smooth booze. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2016
Growler from Beer Frog Spring Hill. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Nose is sweet vanilla, some malt character, and some cocoa. Flavor is similar- comes off as red velvet cake: vanilla, cocoa, and a nice malt character. Light to medium in body and interesting overall. Homer321 (5255) - Melboring, Florida, USA - APR 16, 2016
Draft at WOB dr Philips. Nose is cake with vanilla light fruitiness. Pour is deep red. Taste is similar but a tad thin. Solid. knickskicks (1168) - - MAR 25, 2016
Tap. Reddish brown pour. Nose is red velvet cake. Taste is red velvet cake without much discernible chocolate. Watery mouthfeel. Much better than I expected. They should brew a stout version. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - FEB 17, 2015
Draft in my snifter at the Lounge in Boca. Pours a very deep brown, nearly black like a porter with a small beige head. Aroma is red velvet cake...cake batter, vanilla icing, flour, and butter. The taste was sweet cake batter with vanilla icing and butter, light chocolate and cocoa powder. Medium body and velvety mouth feel. Sweet, but not cloying. Smooth and delicious.
