ABV: 10.5%. Clear dark dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, chocolate, sweet malt, cocoa nibs, maple syrup, light roasted. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, dark maple, maple syrup, chocolate, sweet malt, coffee - coffee beans, light roasted. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic.

Bottle at RBSG PGH 2016. Clear brown color. Aroma of briwnies dipped in coffee. Taste is coffee and cocoa, sweet maple. Nice.

Keg at CPK - London. Pours oily black with a creamy tan head. Massive aroma, tons of maple syrup, hearty chocolate, mild roast, raisins, perhaps a hint of cinnamon. Big sweet flavorbwith lots of gooey chocolate, nicely integrated maple syrup, French toast, baking cocoa, mellow earthy bitterness, soft espresso. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with some sticky burnt sugars, buckets more maple syrup and liquefied chocolate, vanilla, hints of earth and dark fruits. A pretty awesome over-the-top American adjunct impy. Black color, the head disappears quickly. Aroma and flavor provide an excellent character of chocolate with nuts, cream, and hint of coffee, moderately sweet, intense, perfectly balanced.

Nose is full on maple syrup, light coffee cake, tres sweet, toffee fudge, light spice, toasted brown sugar.
Taste comprises sweet maple syrup, tiramisu, sweet malt, molasses, chocolate fondue, espresso, melted Toblerone.
Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, sweet warming alcohol in the close.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is loaded with maple syrup upfront, followed by intense coffee, but not getting any smokiness or bacon. Flavour is intensely rich, with a lovely maple syrup character upfront, followed by roasted malt and coffee. Not getting any smokiness or bacon. What a lovely mix of maple syrup and coffee. Superb.
