COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle, 50cl. Pours clear, yet golden amber with small-medium off-white head. Ok lacing. Yeasty nose. Malty with herbs and citrus. Toffee, caramel, spices and dark fruits; raisins, plums and berries. Taste is sugary and dark red fruits. Heavily and thick flavour. Malty background. Little herbal spice, caramel and citric. Thick and creamy. Alcohol warming. Light metallic note with some burned maltiness, and light bitter hops towards the end. Soft and gentle carbonation, moderate toffee malt and oily texture. Managed to be quite balanced and easy drinkable for a 9%.

Bottle. 9.4%. Best before 13.09.19. Pours a clear, deep golden/amber, with a diminishing, light tan head. Slight lacing. Aroma is dark fruits, plums, with a light tart note, giving it a hint of yogurt, a metallic overtone, and a hint of cardboard. Flavour is dark fruits as well, with a sugary note. Malt in the background. Hint of citrusy hops. Same finish, mildly bitter, with a light metallic note, and a mild alcohol burn. Soft palate, slightly oily. Overall okay. 19.05.17.
