50 cl. bottle, shared. Clear, amber colour with a small, fast fading white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, light toast, a hint of fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet with only a hint of bitterness. Rather bland Bock. Rune (13200) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 15, 2013
500ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Crystal clear, amber coloured body, off-white head with lots of dimples. Laces well. Pale malts and dried fruits on the nose. Moderate flavours of caramel and dried fruity supported by hints of dark spices. Malt-fruity ending with alcohol coming through. Medium bodied. Fits the season on a rather average level (hotel room, Copenhagen 07.12.2013). Bamsen78 (5487) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt, with notes of fruit and clear touches of metal. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sparse fruity, malty and caramellish notes. Bitter finish, with a great deal of metal. Nothing special, if drinkable. MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - NOV 28, 2013
Thanks to my daddy-inlaw for this random tick.
Pour is clear hazelnutty brown, with a slightly frothy cream-white head.
Aroma of hay, slight nutskin, slight spices, slight grass.
The taste is pretty bitter, too bitter to be a Christmas beer to me.
Average body, with a fizzy carbonation. Desverger (12281) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2013
Bottle from Brugsen - amber pour with small off-white head. Sweet malts, some weak caramel/toffee, slightly watery, bit sweet overall, not one of the better Julebryg’s out there this year to me.

Bottle from Brugsen. Clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of malt. Sweet taste with notes of caramel. A bit watery. Bittersweet finish. NosirIwont (2561) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2013
Bottle. 6.2%. Best before 19.09.13. Pours a clear, deep golden amber with a big yellowish/tan head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma; malt, caramel and cereals with a light metallic overtone. A wee bit cloying. Flavour is malty with dark fruit notes, a light citrusy bitter hop note and a dusty overtone, bordering cardboard. Remote metallic note as it warms. Sweet, malty finish with a mild alcohol burn and a light apple note. Overall okay, if a bit cloying; the finish is the better part. 29.06.13. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2013

courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - pours a clear red-amber beer with a poor head retention; spicy aroma with notes of malt and caramel; a good malt backbone and lively palate; pretty bitter and with a dry and long spicy and fruity finish; slightly burning with notes of chewy malts PLundsgaard (487) - Tranbjerg J, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2012
