Color is spot on Golden Pale Ale’ish and/or Classic/Vienna. Head is off off white, and quite malty, fresh and sweet. Up front the taste is as expected from an average English Pale Ale, but as soon as the back is hit it turns bitter and metallic. Palate-wise it is somewhat interesting, or should we say could’ve been.. The bitterness is just too odd and doesn’t help much, as it’s supposed to in this style of beer. I’m thinking the wrong choice of hops here, but that’s just because I need a reason.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours clear orange golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of mild bitter hops, old fruits, toated malt. Taste of fruity hops, not too bitter, wheat, red malt, caramel.

Hazy orange color with high stable white head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Taste is a little sweet with a bitter finish. Pretty good beer.

The aroma limits to slightly sweetish fruit on a background of malt. The taste is also sweet ripe and soft fruit with some nuts in the background. The malt forms a slightly sweet final hops along with good notes that stays in the mouth. It is a real English pale ale, which not leaves the greatest memories, but which is nevertheless tasty and lovely.

Bottle. Pours clear deep golden with a medium off white head. The aroma is malty with earthy hoppy notes. Some citrus. Bitter malty flavor. Earthy hops. Bland.

Caramel golden pour. Whitish foam, good retention. Caramel and very malty nose. Malt, caramel and liquorice taste. Light but well balanced bitterness. Liked it!

50 cl [email protected] in lager [email protected] 7 degrees C. Pours clear golden with a light tan head with sufficient retention. Sweetish aroma of malt, and bread with a tiny hint of hops. Mirrored in the taste which is round and mild and a little sweet till the somewhat spicy, hoppy bitter finish. Well balanced English Pale Ale with more taste than most of its British counterparts and both my wife and I enjoyed it.

Ljusbrun. Inte så mycket skum. Luktar rätt typiskt bitter. Ganska neutral i smaken. Lite mycket smör och lite fruktighet. Helt ok, men tam.
