Sweet honey and clover nose. Clear yellow, medium sticky head. Sweet lemony malt flavor finishing with thyme and grass. A little cardboard is detected, but otherwise a fairly typical European pilsner. bhensonb (15838) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 30, 2012
500 ml flip-top from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is floral/grass - reminds of chamomile. Near med body. Flavor is decently bitter. Herb/grass - noble. Bitter enough to be way better than the macros. Mariusz (12111) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUL 29, 2012
Pours clear golden color with head. Aroma of grass and butter. Flavour is the same. hayduke (5692) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 4, 2012
Found this on the cruise ship Celebrity Infinity on a cruise to Alaska. From the swing top bottle this poured a clear golden color with a fairly large white head and moderate lacing. The nose is caramel malts with some grassy hops. Medium and body with a clean mouthfeel. The flavor shows some lemon citrus and the finish is mildly bitter. Pretty much to style and quite drinkable. Bottle at home. It’s light-golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of straw, malt and light citrus. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, light citrus and malt, and the finish is dry.

330 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Clear gold color. Lacey head. Flowery, sweet aroma. Taste is flowery, somewhat peachy, malty, sweet with grassy hops. A bit thin. Palate ends a bit bitter for my liking. Drinkable and okay. fonefan (51574) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2010

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top. @ home.
Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, cereal, corn, metalic - galvanised tube, old malt notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. Golden with a fairly large white foam. Aromas are biscuit and grain with peppery hops some metal. Quite grassy. Flavours are biscuit malts with some corn. Grassy and clean with hints of lemon. Dry on the finish. Decent. Quack-Duck (9534) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2008
bottle. Clear pale golden yellow, large and creamy white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, clean and very hoppy with a pleasant and also intensive maltyness as a background. Hints of grass and hay. Well-balanced, quite intensive flavours - there’s a lot going on in there. A very nice example of a German Pilsener. kappldav123 (6134) - GERMANY - JAN 17, 2008
The bottle looks not really good, but the beer is good. Modest turbid, a little bit sourish. Spicy, very drinkable. Good beer.
