Bottle. Sweetish, quite roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour, big stable light brown head. The flavour is also quite roasted with some sweetness. Long, roasted aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel.

Swing-top from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mildly sweet, darkly fruity and bready. Med body. Flavor is rather dry, tends towards dark brown bread. It has mild bitterness, but doesn’t seem very fruity after all. It’s really hard for me to describe in full detail, but there’s some bits and pieces I don’t understand. It all hangs together well tho, and it’s a really tasty drink.

500ml Bügelflasche. Mindestens haltbar bis: 11.12.11. I get wet thinking of unfiltered dunkels, you wonder why there aren’t more out there. It pours a nice brownish color with a foamy ta head that recedes with some nice lacing. The smell is very nice, with some dark malts, bread, and a nice hop touch. The flavor is pretty good. It is a raostier example. Reminds me of a porter. It is sweet but roasty with some subtle malt and fruit flavors.

Swing top bottle. Malty, caramelly aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, licorice and chocolate. Thinnish. Sweet but with just enough bite to make this beer pleasurable.
