bottle. Hazy brown colour, large and very creamy beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, lovely hints of caramel, roasted malts and chocolate. Very well-balanced with a pleasant soft carbonation. A very good Dunkel.

Easy drinking, good for style. Pours dark amber with ok head and lacing. Some sour mash barley aroma with light caramel. Swing top bottle drank at the beach.

50cl bottle with flip-top. Poured colabrown color with a huge, frothy, lasting beige head. Aroma is nice, caramel, slightly roasted and bready. Medium bodied, flavor is caramel and bread, slightly sweet. Long finish. Very nice dunkel, high drinkability.

swing top bottle 500ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog. Darker amber coloured, big off-white head that went away slowly. Roasted malt, coffee and caramel with mild notes of chocolate. Some hops in rather bitter finish. Ok dunkel.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2003 liked this better the second time. full rye aroma. burnt raisin wine. tasted quite citric and hoppy - probably from buying it close to the source. a little syruppiness in the finish is the only real blemish

Aroma herbal noble nose with sweet darker malts. Very clean.
Appearance:
Top: medium, lasting , creamy of white cap.
Base: hazy amber brown.
Palate : smooth, good drinkability with medium body, mid walls.
Taste: mild hop note , dark rye bread like feel. Sweeter base. Clean.
Other notes Drinkable mild unfiltered dark lager. Clean and refreshing.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Great, nutty aroma and colour like melted chocolate. Flavours of roasted nuts, dark bread and sweet dried fruits. Would drink this beer always again.

0,5 swing top bottle shared with McTapps. A huge and nice surprise. Full body with a great aroma reminding me some Guinness. Extremely quaff with an earthy aroma. Superb beer.
