Swing-top from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mildly sweet, darkly fruity and bready. Med body. Flavor is rather dry, tends towards dark brown bread. It has mild bitterness, but doesn’t seem very fruity after all. It’s really hard for me to describe in full detail, but there’s some bits and pieces I don’t understand. It all hangs together well tho, and it’s a really tasty drink. marcus (10669) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 21, 2013

Light unclear medium brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, roasted, dusty chocolate, light hoppy, dry grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
It’s mahogany-red with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, syrup, caramel and light cocoa. The flavour is moderately sweet to sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, syrup, light cocoa, and the finish is dry. It’s quite nice.
