jaghana (6220) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - APR 21, 2012
Bottle 50cl, a clear dark-amber beer with medium head. Nose is very malty and caramel like. Aroma is medium sweet with a good malt body on toasted notes, caramel, brown bread, fruit notes on dry grapes, yes it’s more a dunkel as a Kellerbier as stated on the label. Finish is slightly hopy on the peppery side.

Location/Date:Beer on December 16th, 2012.

Appearance: Pours a dark maroon brown.
Aroma: Aroma of nuts and caramel.
Taste: Nuts, caramel, sweet, faint bitterness.
Palate:Light-medium body, quick finish, hint of fizz.

Summary: First off the bottle on this beer is pretty awesome. It’s resealable essentially. The beer itself is solid, matching style expectations.

Bottle. Nutty, burnt sugar, rather dry and thin, but malt centered and easy drinking. Good one.

Boekanier (57) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2013
Pours a clear brown/reddish beer. The foam unfortunately dissappears quite quickly. The best aspect of this beer is its aroma: a really good malty character. The taste is a bit disappointing and pales to insignificance compared to the aroma. The aftertaste is nice though and contains a sweetish bitterness.

Kita (2209) - Koper, SLOVENIA - SEP 22, 2016
Swing top bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Maurizio. Pours clear brown amber color with medium soapy tan-like head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild roasted malt, cereals, caramel, honey and grass. Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt, caramel and nuts, follows sour grainy and grassy with medium bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Good one...

Piepenhenrich (1124) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 2, 2017
From flip-top bottle, pours dark, opaque. Malty flavors, well-balanced sweetness.
