Bottle. Hazy golden with a rocky, lasting head. Carbonation is soft. Aroma is grain, hay and apples. Taste is rural and refreshing - hay, apples, grain, light to moderate bitterness, low hoppiness. Full bodied, nice zwickelbier. crossovert (14146) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 22, 2011
500ml bottle, mindestens haltbar bis: 22.01,12.
It pours a cloudy gold with a nice-looking fluffy white head.
The smell is pretty standard, grainy with some slight hop notes.
The flavor has a pleasant citrus character along with some herbs. It is sweet, but not a ton The malt is also very tasty.
It looks and smells pretty average, but it does have a fresh, invigorating flavor fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2010

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.
Unclear medium grey orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity, light straw, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
NIce and refreshing. I like this style because its not annoying after several bottles. The features were incredible and perfect aftertaste.

Pours copper, large off-white head with lacing. Malty caramell with herbal hops in aroma. Malty flavor with spicy bitterness. A faint off-flavor in the aftertaste. Rather flat and dull beer. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - OCT 1, 2009
0.5 l bottle from Beerangel. Hazy copper color. Sweetish worty aroma with honey and fruity maltiness. Malty, nutty and toffeish flavor with some herbal bitterness in finish. Rounded palate. Pleasant to drink but fairly one dimensional. Good for german food. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - SEP 22, 2009
I think from the bottle. Color was a dirty amber with a big fluffy head. Aroma of spice, bread and yeast. Almost peppery and herbal. Flavor was of sweet malt, bread with a great herbal and peppery finish. Slightly creamy on the palate. Nice finish and after taste. It seems that I like Zwickels more than most. from beerangel.de - clear golden-bronze colour with a solid and persistent white foam; slightly lactic nose with gentle aromatic hoppy tones; creamy mouthfeel and with a medium malt body; some decent late bitterness and with a short dusty and creamy finish - lacking deeply of character TBone (18565) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 9, 2009
Bottled (Beerangel, BB 12/2009).
Slightly hazy amber-golden color, small creamy white head, some lace. Quite grainy nose with hints of honey and hayish hops. Flavor has same elements. Grainy maltyness and nice leafy hops. Reasonably good body for 4.9% brew, long semi-bitter aftertaste.
