Draught Clear-golden yellow beer with small snow-white head. Dry grains nose, bit "herb", bit grassy. Very dry, straw-like grainy flavour, some grassiness. It does not fall flat, but instead the taste goes completely dry, as dry bread. Hops, all the same, finish the picture. Despite the initial creamy onset in texture, it’s bone-dry. Very lingering MF, taste turning into something as nettle cheese. Hoppy, but especially ultra-dry Pilsener. shrubber85 (11615) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 8, 2008
Bottle. Milky barley malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Primarily a strong flowery grass hops flavor - minimal malt. Strong hops but not much else. pivnizub (10805) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - AUG 20, 2008
Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Greenish-golden, lazy carbonation, small lacy white foamy layer; strawy, grainy and slightly sourish nose; light bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as well; light to moderate sweet-bitter finish. "Edel" = "noble", an euphemism for a poor beer...... MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2008
(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Medium-sweet, slightly perfumed malty nose with light herbal hoppy notes. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly perfumed strawy malty taste with light herbal notes; dryish, slightly bitter and hoppy finish. Not really convincing (26.06.08). oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Pours a nice hazy golden yellow. Aromas of malts, hops, and grass. Crisp hop bitterness and dry finish.
