Also known as "Fürstenberg Weizen Hefe Dunkel" at abv 5.4%.
Description: The specialty with a full malt flavor.
Our specialty Weizen Hefe Dunkel appeals especially to friendly malty flavor. The careful blend of wheat and gently roasted, caramelized specialty malts give its dark color and wonderful flavors. This is the malty alternative to the classic Weizen Hefe Hell.
Ingredients: water, wheat malt, barley malt, hops, hop extract, yeast.

Brown and cloudy color. Nice tan head with medium carbonation. Medium body and oily texture. Aroma is roasted toffee, bread, banana and spicy. Taste is cloves, bread and yeast. Aftertaste is dry and short.

Koelschtrinker (20584) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 30, 2017
Dunkel hefiger, eher trockener Antrunk. Geringfügig röstig, etwas Herb, monoton. Monoton bei leichter Bitterkeit. Langweilig. 10/7/8/7/8/8

The beer has got a hazy brown colour with a steady head and medium body. Aroma of yeast and malt. Taste of yeast, bread, bananas and malt. Metallic finish.

Ok

Typical Heffeweizen. About the best thing going for this one was that my wife liked it.

Je déteste ça quand la SAQ colle leurs maudites étiquettes blanches!!! Cette bière était bien bonne, épicée et bien équilibrée. Du caramel et des fruits confits étaient perceptibles en bouche...

Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 3, 2015
Meaty banana, caramel and spicy marzipan aroma. Ruby amber with a ton of effervescence and foamy head - the perfect looking pour. Sweet spices and dark fruits all over, sweet aftertaste that accompanies the sticky cloying feel of the beer’s body, although it is not too heavy for this style. Very nice beer, if only a bit above the category average.

(Tap 14/08-15) medium beige head, unclear brown, just a bit more malty taste compared to the hell-edition.

rayaron (1885) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - AUG 5, 2015
Draught at Titisee, Germany. Cloudy brown with huge stable bubbly beige head, quite fizzy. The aroma is earthy and yeasty with notes of dark bread and caramel. Malty flavor, light bitterness, yeasty, notes of wheat and caramel, light sourness in the finish. Lively carbonation, medium-bodied.

HippyHop (659) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 16, 2015
Pour is burnt orange with a creamy tan cap that sticks around for a bit. Nose is mostly banana bread and spice. Taste is sweet and slightly sour, with notes of ripe bananas, caramel, roasted grain and a bit of spice. It’s a bit watery overall, which seems to mute a lot of the flavour. Passable.
