COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Fürstenberg Premium Pilsner, one of only a handful of "Premium" designated premium beers in Germany and long thought to be the first German Pilsner brewed in accordance to the Czech Pilsner method has an alcohol % of 4.8. Water is actually taken from the source of the Danube river deep in the Black Forest!

Taste; bread, grass, lemon, hops, caramel, grain, fruit - and finish is mild but includes modest hops. Feel; normal, fresh, clean. Overall; good german pils, drinks very easily. 330ml brown bottle poured into a pint. Appearance is clear yellow with a large beige head. Aroma of wet grass, herbs and cereal. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, smooth texture and average carbonation. Overall a standard Pilsener, not bad or anything out of the ordinary.

From old tasting notes. Deep "greenish" gold color. Large rocky white head. Big hoppy aroma. Nice toasted malt flavor has a mouth coating quality. Hops show through in midtaste. Dry bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, bright and pale golden. Frothy white head, good lacing. Grassy and seeet grainy nose, bread and biscuits. Light and fairly smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Sweet malty and grainy taste, metallic nose, buns and bread. Mild floral bitterness in the finish.
