Bottled, 1.0l. Hazy dark brown with a small, tanned and partly lasting head. Flowery, caramely aroma with chocolate, mild roastiness and some berries. Roasted-malty, sweetish flavor with milk chocolate and hints of toffee. Medium, silky smooth body with soft carbonation. A nice, tasty and balanced dunkel. Hazy light brown. Nutty, breadcrusty aroma, almost like roasted pork. Cocoa and breadcrust character. Probably a shade thin for my taste, it needs more sugars to bring out those tasty dark malts. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Reddish-brown and hazy with a tan head. Big malty, husky aroma. Juicy and good body. Nice husky flavors. Some fruity notes and a dry, roasty finish. Quite nice and very drinkable.

Tapped. Appeared dark brown with some reddish notes body with a good thick light-brown head. In aroma - some caramel, nuts, bread, but the aroma is not very strong. Tastes good - sweet, some malts, fresh, texture is rather medium, some flavour of light touch of banana. Finish is abrupt, sweet and not so interesting. fugitive (2027) - Athens, GREECE - JUN 23, 2010
