Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft.
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange amber, creamy head. Aroma of ripe banana. Sweet and sugary with rounded mouthfeel. A strightfrward weizen sitting heavily on sugary malt and overripe banana. Beerhunter111 (23291) - Beerland, GERMANY - MAY 6, 2016

Dark amber/orange in colour with a decent creamy head.
Sweetish malt and banana on the nose.
Sweet malt, a little butter, banana and a pinch of cloves.
Medium carbonation - decent Weizen on a hot day!

Hazy amber. Kind of a sour, footy character. Tart, with some slight sour apple. A fairly ho-hum example as a result. It only does the expected and even at that not very well. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2009
Draught, 5.3% at the brewpub. Distinct clove aroma, quite nice. Hazy amber colour, sparkling. Stable creamy tan head. The flavour also has some clove, but not as much as the aroma does. Apart from that, it is quite dry, almost getting grainy and sour, especially in the finish. shrubber85 (11710) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - FEB 14, 2010

Cloudy deep orange beer, creamy off-white to yellowish head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, some citrus, herbal touch, little sourish. MF: good carbon, medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: citric start, pretty sour, wheaty, lemon, little bit of banana, sweet malts, little bready, sourish, is it infected? If so, I don’t mind it too much, it works for me. Aftertaste: fruity, peaches and apricots, sour plums, hint of banana.
My Bottom Line:
Wet wheat and oranges whip up lots of flavor in this otherwise sugar-heavy Weissbier.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy pale orange amber.
-Mouthfeel appears limp because of the excessive wheat and residual sugars.
-Carbonation is lower than usual for the style, which probably exacerbates the impression of sweetness.
-The usual esters and phenols are stealing the show in this one. A nice change of pace for the style.
