Bierkrug (2129) - - APR 2, 2013

Draught @ Fürstliches Brauhaus.Color medium orange with medium head. Aroma banana, orange, wheat. Taste wheat, banana. ganache (5905) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 24, 2012
Tap at the Brauhaus. Cloudy brown with orange highlights and a lacing rocky white head. Great wheat nose with lemon, vanilla, and loads and loads of banana esters. Finally, a great wheat beer nose! Light body, heavy wheat with some yeast, a little pretzel with the esters. Super refreshing. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2008
Bottled, 1.0l. Murky-opaque amber with a small head. Sweetish-malty aroma with some sourness and diacetyl hints. Diacetyl also in the flavor, with sweetish rye notes, and some bananaish sourness. Medium body with soft carbonation. Maybe not at its best, but quite enjoyable.

Draught at brewery. Very attractive deep orange colour with flavour to match. A nice bit of citrus to match the yeasty banananess, and also left a nice fizz on the tongue. Theydon_Bois (19513) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2012
On tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12.

Cloudy deep orange beer, creamy off-white to yellowish head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty fruity, some citrus, herbal touch, little sourish. MF: good carbon, medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: citric start, pretty sour, wheaty, lemon, little bit of banana, sweet malts, little bready, sourish, is it infected? If so, I don’t mind it too much, it works for me. Aftertaste: fruity, peaches and apricots, sour plums, hint of banana.
My Bottom Line:mjs (7370) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 28, 2008
Wet wheat and oranges whip up lots of flavor in this otherwise sugar-heavy Weissbier.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy pale orange amber.
-Mouthfeel appears limp because of the excessive wheat and residual sugars.
-Carbonation is lower than usual for the style, which probably exacerbates the impression of sweetness.
-The usual esters and phenols are stealing the show in this one. A nice change of pace for the style.
On tap at the brewpub.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana, clove, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A tasty hefeweizen.
